Here were the total amount of money raised in January for each of our four January charities:

Pencils for promise: $5

Charity Water: $5

Tony Robbin’s Foundation: $5000

Give Directly: $325

Also got a donation to givewell.org for $18,000 with a request for matching.  It was not one of the charities Christal and I choose to match but it is a meta-charity and one of the charities that they raise money is Give Directly.  We decided to match that donation up to our cap to givedirectly.  So totals Christal and I matched were:

Pencils for promise: $15

Charity Water: $15

Tony Robbin’s Foundation: $12,500

Give Directly: $12,470
